Abstract

The research in astrobiology is focusing on delivering microbes to other planets to prove that life is possible in extraterrestrial atmospheres or other planetary atmospheres. The discovery of extremophiles, the microbes which are capable of survice extreme conditions such as high temperature, high acidity, saltiness and radiation have encouraged scientists to deliver them to extraterrestrial locations. Astrobiology extends the possibility of spreading life across the galaxy by some form of panspermia process. But getting killed by interstellar radiation before these microorganisms reach their destination could be a possible challenge in astrobiological experiments.
