Shallow water temperatures and malarial mosquitoes

Abstract

A fundamental study of the effects of the physical environment on aquatic stages of malarial mosquitoes was carried out. Initial experiments involved a small artificial body of water. It appeared that the larval population develops especially well in small and very muddy water bodies.
