Abstract

This paper addresses the design of polarization reconfigurable holographic artificial impedance surfaces (HAISs). the proposed metasurface is fed by two monopoles and it radiates a pencil beam with horizontal, vertical or circular polarization depending on the monopole or the combination of monopoles that feeds the metasurface. The HAIS is operated at a non-phase crossover frequency.
