Abstract

Constantine A. Balanis, Arizona State University, provides his views on EuCAP 2010 success. Balanis says that EuCAP'2010 was very well planned and organized, the sessions were of very high quality, and the attendance reached and exceeded expectations. The attending delegates were very well organized and articulate and the presentations were well rehearsed and crisp. The venue of the conference was well laid out, the registration desk was well organized and staffed, and the rooms for the sessions had sufficient capacity. The social program that included the conference dinner held at Les Drassanes Reials, a highly valuable example of civil Gothic architecture, was impressive. The Best Student Paper Award was given by Professor Jordi Romeu to Francesco Giuppi, University of Pavia, Italy. A local tour guide was provided for the evening who was also a former graduate student.
