Abstract

Extreme system reliability as a part of electric power engineering was discussed. Power system reliability was related to electric power quality, extreme bus voltage reliability, use of distributed energy sources (DES), and loop circuits for distribution systems. High reliability and power quality were necessary for strategic information systems and digital control.
