N2 - Here, we provide a brief report on the 2019 Gordon Research Conference (GRC) and Gordon Research Seminar (GRS) on photosynthesis. Both the GRC (July 21–26, 2019) and GRS (July 20–21, 2019) were held at Sunday River Resort, Maine, USA, bringing together the beginners as well as the established scientists to discuss recent advances in photosynthesis research.
