Abstract

The interactions of phospholipid vesicles with monolayers were investigated by film balance. The results revealed that the molecular transfer from vesicle to monolayer was strongly influenced by vesicle dimensions, vesicle phases and surface charge. Using this method, we obtained quantum information about molecule transfer which may furnish a model system to study intermembrane interactions.
