Abstract

The Flexible Display Center has created a unique and powerful industry-government-university partnership to create a revolutionary generation of information displays that will be flexible, lightweight, low power, and rugged. This paper describes key features of the partnership framework, and successful development of product-level flexible display technology demonstrators and commercial-ready manufacturing solutions in enabling flexible and flex-compatible materials and new display-scale toolsets.
