Abstract

Theoretical analyses of the dielectric coated meandering leaky wave long slot's aperture field distribution, far-field radiation amplitude patterns, and isolation with another similar antenna configured in parallel are performed, and numerical results are computed. In the analysis of the slot antenna, it is assumed that the slot is cut on the broad wall of a rectangular waveguide which is embedded in a ground plane of infinite extent. The ground plane and antenna aperture are coated with a uniform dielectric slab of arbitrary thickness, permittivity, and permeability.
