Description

UIA - Strada The National Summit for Student Success Innovation and Campus Transformatio UIA - The National Summit for Student Success Innovation and Campus Transformation (Strada) The National Summit for Student Success Innovation and Campus Transformation is designed to serve as a natural diffusion exercise. Registration will be open to interested institutions with the expectation that universities will send innovation teams who have the support of their campus leadership to follow up on and implement learnings from the summit. Our event design will flow naturally out of the proven UIA convening strategy designed around the effective transfer of ideas. This design provides team time to work together on goals, a forum to highlight and share compelling progress, failure-sharing sessions, and various other dynamic approaches (such as a well-received 7-minute speech format) to energize higher education professionals to take action. The summit has already garnered a great deal of attention from colleges and universities around the country, including from HBCUs, who have a wealth of experience serving the types of students our work aims to benefit. It is our expectation that this summit will elevate and accelerate the UIAs impact on student success in higher education by increasing degree production on our member and affiliate campuses and by diffusing knowledge of proven processes and initiatives to other institutions across the nation.
