Project: Research project

Project Details

Description

In collaboration with In state colleges and universities the ASU TRIO Talent Search program propose the following activities in an effort to expose program participants to careers in the Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) fields.

A STEM supplement award would allow program participants to take part in the activities which would increase their exposure to college campuses around the state of Arizona and allow for in person collaboration with college personnel and students in the fields of STEM. The activities listed below would expose program participants to unique STEM experiences not typically offered through their traditional high school and provide them with an intimate setting to ask questions and learn from professionals in various STEM fields with the goal of helping them see that they too can work towards a career in the STEM field.
