The potential and emerging impact of the changing institutional landscape on the global exchange of genetic resources for food and agriculture To establish a global center of internationally networked researchers committed to rigorous empirical research on genetic resources for food and agriculture, recognizing the significant impact GFRA have on food security and ferment adaptation to climate change. GCGRP recognizes significant contextual changes relevant to GRFA research: scientific advances in genomics, digitization, storage, access and use of data repositories, the impact on regional, national and subnational research policy and on downstream actors, such as administrators and farmers.
