Description

This task aims to develop a generic modeling technique that is applicable to various technology types, including alternative devices and interconnect. Such a modeling technique will provide a simple description of the essential non-linearity, connecting the underlying physics with highlevel modeling results. The efficiency and flexibility of compact models will be further improved to cover an increasing amount of process variability. This project is proposed to be jointly funded by IFC/C2S2 to enable close coupling to new IFC/C2S2 efforts in a next generation circuit simulation framework. It will enable the assessment of emerging devices from a joint technology-circuit-system perspective.B
