During the period of work, I will be working to extend the work to date in non-trivial ways. In particular, there has been interest in continuous time random walk phenomena in biological diffusion. There are few examples of statistical methodologies for this type of process. Moreover, the methods we have already developed can be viewed as such a process; one point of interest in the CTRW literature is the use of heavy-tailed hold times, which extend well beyond our current Markovian system. I will work with a student to develop this methodology.
