Epigenetic regulation of glycotransferase enzymes in urothelial carcinoma

Project: Research project

Project Details

Description

Epigenetic regulation of glycotransferase enzymes in urothelial carcinoma Epigenetic regulation of glycotransferase enzymes in urothelial carcinoma Specific Aims: 1) Determine if altered glycotransferase enzyme activity evidenced in urine is associated with muscle-invasive UCC and 2) Determine if altered glycotransferase activity evidenced in urine is associated with UCC treatment response to Bacillus Calmette-Gurin (BCG) immunotherapy. If successful, results may lead to a non-invasive, biopsy-free urine test for muscle-invasive UCC and the identification of a predictive glycan signature to immunotherapy.
