CAREER: Manipulating Directionality of Electron Transfer Within Type 1 Photosynthetic Reaction Centers CAREER: Manipulating Directionality of Electron Transfer Within Type 1 Photosynthetic Reaction Centers We purchased the W-band EPR spectrometer and it arrived 11/01. It has been operational in a regular basis only since 1/ 03, due to failures in several components. During one of the short times it was working, we were able to record EPR spectra of the P700 + cation radical in two mutants, which will be published soon. We have also demonstrated that we can interface our OPO:laser system to illuminate the cavity with laser flashes, and we are working on the software to take the input for the transient experiments.
