ATIC: Design and Build a High Performance First Class State-of-the-Aftermarket Art Test Drive Electric Vehicle EV- using Mazda MX-5 Miata Platform ATIC: Design and Build a High Performance First Class State-of-the-Aftermarket Art Test Drive Electric Vehicle EV- using Mazda MX-5 Miata Platform Motivation and Background: The purpose of this project is to design and build a first class state-of-the-aftermarket art EV-conversion to debut and demonstrate Torque Trends new product single speed reduction gear box. Goals (i) Retrofit a new EV power train into an internal combustion-based Mazda MX-5 Miata platform. (ii) Optimize the controller for the high performance of the EV power train to meet design requirements (iii) Optimizing Packaging, weight distribution and dynamic stability analysis by performing packaging for optimal positioning of different components; weight distribution and dynamic stability analysis will be carried out including traction and handling calculations.
