Abstract

This panel will give an overview of the Electrical Power Engineering related research activities in Canada. The major topics of the discussion are sustainable electrical energy generation, power system reliability improvement. The panel will present an evaluation of environmental effect of power system. Other major topics will be the overview of University and Institutional research. Finally the ice and snow effect on transmission line will be presented.
