Abstract

Wavelets have been applied to electromagnetic modeling: to solve integral equations resulting in very sparse MOM matrices, to improve the convergence and numerical dispersion in the FDTD, to solve nonlinear partial diflerential equations with collocation method. This paper will address the promises and problems of wavelets..
