Abstract
A research related to climate change and need for a scientific leadership is presented. Effective action on climate change depended on the willingness of the climate science community to support new research priorities was suggested. Motivating politicians and policymakers to improve energy policies and reduce vulnerability to climate effects were also suggested. It was concluded from a convention that actions were required to diversify energy supply by developing advanced, cleaner, more efficient, affordable and cost-effective energy technologies.
