Abstract
In 2006, a number of websites related to the exploration of the South Pacific commemorated the Quirós-Torres trip (1606) to the Terra Australis. This digital humanities article looks at Quirós journey’s websites as a vast field where narrative, visual, history, heritage, nationalism, politics, religion, ethnicity interrelate in a fresh way of building national, collective, and personal projects.
