Translated and sequestered untranslated message sequences in Drosophila oocytes and embryos

Abstract

Poly(A)-containing RNA sequences on polysomes were compared to poly(A)-containing sequences in sequestered nonpolysomal particles by cDNA hybridization. The results reported here show that the two fractions contain substantially the same sequences.
