Time decay of the thermoremanent magnetization in the insulating spin glass Eu0.4Sr0.6S

Abstract

The time decay of the thermoremanent magnetization σTRM in Eu0.4Sr0.6S has been measured by Faraday rotation. Over 5 decades of time σTRM can be fitted by a stretched exponential: σTRM = σ0 exp(- t/τ)1-n. The exponent is n ≈ 0.90 below the freezing temperature and it decreases above.
