Abstract

A study was performed on thermochemistry of glasses along the 2NdAlO ₃-3SiO₂ join. The five Nd-aluminosilicate glasses along the 2NdAlO₃-3SiO₂ join were synthesized using conventional drop-quench techniques. It was found that the NdAlO ₃-composition glass showed no evidence of a glass transition prior to crystallization.
