Abstract

On 9-13 July 2005, the Twentieth National Conference on Artificial Intelligence was held in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The event marked the twenty-fifth anniversary of the first AAAI conference held in 1980. This year's event successfully recaptured some of the heady unity of purpose since the first AAAI conference held in 1980. A total of 150 papers for oral presentation and 79 papers for poster presentation were accepted. The main technical program was complemented by exciting tutorial, worskhop, demonstration, student abstract, and doctoral consortium programs.
