Abstract

Recently, high-resolution optical spectra of the B̃2Σ+-X̃2Σ+ system of LaNH was recorded. As in YNH, the 000 level of the B̃2Σ+ state of LaNH suffers from severe perturbations, though the very lowest-J levels of the B̃2Σ+, v2, and v3 vibrational fundamentals were not significantly perturbed. This paper reports on the rotational analysis of these levels form the basis of the optical Stark studies.
