Abstract

Lambda-doubling transitions in 13CH in its X 2Π state have been observed using the technique of microwave optical double resonance (MODR). The frequencies of hyperfine components of five separate lambda-doubling transitions have been measured and used to determine the lambda-doubling and hyperfine parameters in the molecular Hamiltonian. The 13C hyperfine parameters re discussed in terms of the electronic wave function for CH in the X 2Π state.
