N2 - While synchrophasor technology has been around for over 30 years it has not been widely incorporated in the power engineering education. Instructional material is rather limited with only a few books being published on the subject so far. This paper discusses the educational issues associated with synchrophasor applications in the Smart Grid and points out to the instructional material being currently developed by the authors.
