Abstract

The structure and phase transformation of ferromagnetic shape memory alloy Ni 49Mn 30Ga 21 were discussed. It was found that at the room temperature the powder were mainly bct martensite structure with a small amount of fcc austenite structure. The temperature dependence of the magnetization of the shape memory alloys powder was also elaborated.
