Abstract

The protocol for spin-dependent lattice structure in a cold atomic fermi gas using lasers was investigated. The protocol was also used to realize the Hubbard model whose hopping parameters depend on spin and whose interaction strength could be controlled with an external magnetic field. It was observed that the class of states supports coexisting superfluid and normal components even at zero temperature. The results show that the quantity of the normal component varied with external parameters.
