Abstract

The articles in this special issue focus on implications of the military-industrial complex from an technological, societal, military, and economic perspective. Presents the views of Norbert Wiener who became increasingly wary of the militarization of science after World War II. Also presents ethical considerations with the development of new military technologies and their impact on society.
