Abstract

The earliest papers on positive unlabeled learning were written in the late 1990s, such as Denis [1998] and De Comité et al. [1999]. Since that time, well over 150 papers, have been published, many of which are included in the bibliography of this book. In this chapter we survey the general types of algorithms that have been used for PU learning and explore some of the more common or important solutions in further detail.
