Abstract
The high-resolution laser-induced fluorescence spectrum of a supersonic molecular beam sample of molybdenum nitride, MoN, was recorded in the 596- to 633-nm spectral range. The A4Πr-X4Σ- band system of the 92Mo, 94Mo, 96Mo, 98Mo, and 100Mo isotopic forms was analyzed to produce an improved set of spectroscopic parameters. The isotopic dependence of the parameters is discussed and a comparison with a previous rotational analysis is given.
