Abstract
With the rapid development of fMRI, image registration is becoming more and more highlighted. Medical image registration is essentially a multi-parameter optimization problem. Firstly the four registration methods mostly used at present are surveyed. Then two registration measures based on image intensities are described in detail, and four effective optimization methods are introduced which are improved in order to find out the best registration parameters more effectively.
