Probing the Excited States of Valley Polaritons in Atomic Crystals

Abstract

We for the first time directly probe the excited states of valley polaritons in monolayer WS2. Specifically, the valley-dependent dark excited states and the dynamically unstable upper polariton states are observed by nonlinear spectroscopy.
