title = "Precise measurement of the pion axial form factor in the π + → e + νγ decay",
abstract = "The PIBETA detector and a stopped pion beam were used to investigate the radiative pion decays π +→e +vγ in three broad kinematic regions. The absolute π→evγ branching ratios in the three regions were calculated using the methods based on Dalitz distributions of 41601 events. The PV signals were found to provide discrimination between the background protons and minimum ionizing particles (MIP). The results indicate that the deficit could be caused by an inadequacy of the present V - A description of the radiative pion decay.",
