Abstract

In mobile communication system, signal fading degrades the system performance. For power controlled systems with matched filter (MF)/minimum mean square error (MMSE) receivers the signal-to-interference ratio (SIR) is characterized as these are widely used in code division multiple access (CDMA) systems.
