Abstract
The essence of power quality is the ability to accept power from the distribution bus for ultimate utilization, compatible with characteristics of loads. A popular measure of whether electric power delivered from the power system is compatible with load characteristics is the use of the power acceptability curves that measure the sensitivity of the load to voltage sags. This paper discusses the power acceptability curves and bus voltage sags which aims to convey its use and how to calculate it.
