N2 - Large enterprises operate two or more datacenters for scaling and fault tolerance. Each datacenter maintains a certain degree of autonomy while sharing resources with other datacenters. In this paper we describe how policy-based resource management can be used in existing commercial products such that each datacenter can control when, what, and how to share resources with other datacenters.
