Abstract

By choosing suitable materials and using UV-light polymerization-induced phase separation method, the separated polymer matrix films with three dimensional network structure were realized with controlling the cure conditions precisely. Nematic liquid crystal domains formed from liquid crystal molecules were also separated in matrix network. This films could be driven by 15V saturated voltage, contrast ratio could be obtained more than 30 as well as several microseconds switching speed.
