Parametric autoregressive modeling of DNA sequences

Abstract

DNA sequences are examined for the purpose of identifying properties of the coding and non-coding regions. In this paper, we attempt to model the coding regions using parametric spectral modeling methods and investigate the possibility of using these models for gene characterization, prediction and annotation.
