Abstract

We present the fabrication of a new plasmonic structure on the surface of a plate, and report the observation of 20-fold enhancement in the fluorescence of YOYO-1 labeled DNA on it than on flat SiO2 plate. This new plasmonic structured plate is easily fabricated and can also be used for other dye fluorescence enhancements.
