Abstract
This chapter focuses on several statistical and methodological issues that arise in the measurement of drug use and predictors of drug use in prevention studies. The primary focus is on experimental and quasi- experimental studies in which the intervention impact is of primary interest. Many of the issues raised are also relevant to population studies.
