Abstract
Homogeneous glasses in the As-Sb-Se system were heat-treated to form glass-ceramic composites in which a conductive crystalline phase containing Sb2Se3 was dispersed in an insulating matrix of a Se-rich glass. Several of the glass-ceramics exhibited low-field non-linear I-V characteristics similar to those observed in metal-oxide varistors.
