Abstract

In an exclusive measurement of the reaction [Formula presented], a narrow peak that can be attributed to an exotic baryon with strangeness [Formula presented] is seen in the [Formula presented] invariant mass spectrum. The peak is at [Formula presented] with a measured width of [Formula presented] FWHM, which is largely determined by experimental mass resolution. The statistical significance of the peak is [Formula presented]. The mass and width of the observed peak are consistent with recent reports of a narrow [Formula presented] baryon by other experimental groups.
