Abstract

Metagenomic approaches are rapidly expanding our knowledge of the diversity of viruses. In the fecal matter of Nigerian chimpanzees we recovered three gokushovirus genomes, one circular replication-associated protein encoding singlestranded DNA virus (CRESS), and a CRESS DNA molecule.
