Novel applications of chemically deposited CuxS thin films

Abstract

Novel applications, such as electrically conductive and transparent surfaces on organic polymer sheets, elastic thin-film copper sensor electrodes that are immune to halide ion interference and contact electrodes on top of ferroelectric PZT films, are suggested for chemically deposited CuxS thin films. The economicity and simplicity of the electroless deposition technique employed for CuxS films is considered suitable for large-area and large-scale production of CuxS films on various substrates.
