Not nearly prideful enough, yet

An epistle

Abstract

This epistle reflects on the concept of pride in the wake of 11 September 2001 and the devastating response by the US. It calls for a truly communist response that embraces the challenge of sojourning together with an upright carriage. It shows that pride as it is most often manifested today is merely an affectation and a form of revenge. Through embodying philosophy as a way of life, the epistle allows us to see that today’s pride is to be overcome by a sharing sympathetic pride that is prideful enough.
