Multi-channel dispersion compensator based on a flexible structure

Abstract

Multi-channel dispersion compensator is demonstrated based on the strongly-chirped, phase-shifted sampled Bragg gratings. Wideband dispersion compensators with different channel spacing, dispersion, and dispersion slope can be obtained with a single conventional phase mask.
