Abstract

Suggests a procedure for modeling the relative growth of the core and the periphery - a procedure based on choice theory. It has the advantages of being more realistic than previous modeling frameworks, of being explanatory rather than descriptive, and of having been derived from an established theoretical framework. - from Author
